Yes! I did it! I actually took a god damn camera with me to an SCA event and took pictures. Yes I know try and breath it was a shock to me as well *lol*

Sadly I did not get many. While the event was -very- low key and laid back I was busy being mommy and a proud mommy at that. My son Rahim won "Best Dog" in the wooded youth combat and third in the youth archery contest. He got called into court and presented with his scroll, his FIRST award from a royal. I was so proud and so was Fenris... I am still in shock that man went to court *lol*

Anyway we are taking it easy this season, trying to save so we can do September Crown in high style . So until then events are going to be day tripped or not gone to at all.

I have had so many people tell me they love me over the years and so many of them have no clue what so ever what that means.

I love you... until something better comes along

So many bullshit words of love no one really means. My Husband loves me... i have no doubts on that what so ever. some bitch about having to wait a few months... Chris has been waiting 10 fucking years and will wait until one or both of us takes our last breath you know why... BECAUSE THATS WHAT YOU DO WHEN YOU -REALLY- FUCKING LOVE SOMEONE!. There are no conditions on real love. You love someone through every speed bump and mountain they have to climb. You are patient and think not only about yourself.

When you have someone in your life that suffers from a mental illness there can be NOTHING that is not real love. Be it the love between friend, parents to their children or a lover. Dose it hurt to be pushed away for days, week and at times months on end? Of course it dose! I know Chris has suffered I know he hurts when i scream and tear away from him when he tries to touch me. I know at times he wishes i was 'normal' but you know what through it all... through 10 fucking years he has stood by my side and loved me.

Love is not something convenient nor is it fun or easy. Love -WILL- be the most painful thing in your live but it is the most wonderful thing you will ever experience.

Sadly when someone tells me they love me beyond Chris & John... I don't believe them... so many have lied in the past that it is just not worth listening anymore. People are lairs... selfish vile fucks who run at the first true test of love. Oh they will play the role but in the end when it comes time for them to prove it and stand by your side... 99.9% wont and can't they are far to selfish... only in love for that it can give them.

Driving home from south Washington last night my sweetie John asked me what are 5 things i have always wanted to learn. The question really made me think. So far almost everything I have wanted to do and try i have but learning is different sooo.. after a little thought here is what i want.

1. Learn a foreign language - German or Japanese

2. Learn to play the cello or the saxophone

3. Learn to Bellydance (not just the fun stuff i do now but the serious study to the art and culture behind dances: Gypsy, Schikhatt, Temple and Zambra.

4. Master photoshop

5. Learn PhP and Flash

Nothing world changing I know but they are little things that are important to me. Funny thing that took me by surprise was John saying he wanted to learn to swing dance *giggles* I'm So down with taking those classes with him. That could be fun!

Holy shit I actually took my camera with me somewhere important for once.

Expect to see some fun cosplay shots up in the near future.
